LJE Music Lessons

Christian Cortez is the Head Choir Director at 2 Middle Schools in Northside ISD, while offering private music lessons in voice, piano, and guitar since 2022. A graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio, Christian holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education while being part of the UTSA National Society of Leadership and Success.

In addition to Christian’s academic education, he currently serves on the worship team at Great Oaks Fellowship singing and performing. With a passion for helping students of all ages discover their musical potential, Christian brings both skill and enthusiasm to every lesson.

Christian’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student can thrive in music with the right support, encouragement, and guidance while also having fun! Christian uses his teaching background to carefully create lesson plans tailored to fit each student's needs and abilities while also giving students the outlet to express themselves and grow as musicians. Well-versed in a wide range of musical styles and genres, Christian can also compose and make personal music arrangements for your child to fit their learning.
