Austin Gabrillo began his musical journey at the age of five and now has more than two decades of music experience on both Violin & Piano. Mr. Gabrillo has received multiple outstanding ratings in may competitions and has been offered multiple full scholarships to various Texas Community Colleges and Universities to study Music Performance. He has been featured as Concert Master and as a Soloist many times over with the Del Mar College Chamber Concert Band, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Orchestra, Del Mar College Masters Chorus, Del Mar College Concert Band, Corpus Christi Chorale, Aurora Arts Theatre, Harbor Playhouse, Symphony Viva and the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Austin has performed many times with the Kingsville Symphony, Victoria Symphony, an Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra, among many other chamber groups in the South Texas area and has been featured as a guest soloist for many concerts and studio recordings. After studying for many years with Dr. David Sutanto, Professor Todd Ehle, and Professor Susan Sturman at Del Mar College, Austin began teaching private lessons on both violin and piano; He held a positions as First Violinist with the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Resident Lichtenstein String Quartet while continuing his music studies on violin and piano alongside Dr. Jose Flores, Dr. Carrie Pierce, and Professor Arlene Long. Austin's most recent accomplishments include a First Place rating at the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi 1st Annual Concerto & Aria Competition in the Keyboard Division where he performed on Harpsichord, and his leading role in the Orlando Series Benefit Concerts held throughout Texas.
